Long before the kitchen became a business—
It began in the heart of a young child, fascinated by the art of cooking. Raised in a Haitian household, I spent my early years by my grandmother’s side, learning the art of blending spices and savoring the rich, flavorful dishes that were the foundation of my culture. When I moved to the United States at eleven, I stepped into a new role as the oldest of six siblings, helping care for my family while my mother worked tirelessly to make ends meet..
As I grew, I found myself in positions that didn’t ignite my passion. It wasn’t until my family and friends encouraged me to pursue what I truly loved—cooking—that I took the leap. As a self-taught chef, my curiosity only deepened. Watching cooking shows, exploring new recipes on YouTube, and experimenting with flavors became my daily routine.
With each new dish, I was not only learning but evolving in the kitchen, refining my craft and embracing the beauty of diverse flavors elementum.
The road to where I am now hasn’t been without its challenges. My battle with anxiety often felt like a struggle between me and myself. But by the grace of God, I was able to overcome these obstacles, which led me to the rewarding moment of opening my own business. I took the bold step of leaving my 9 to 5 job behind to fully embrace my calling as a chef, and the rest, as they say, is history.
